These White Water stainless steel rod holders are made of cast marine grade stainless steel 316. The flange of the rod holders are welded to a polished stainless steel 304 tube with rubber liners inside. These rod holders are available in 15 degree, 30 degree, and 90 degree flange angles to allow proper mounting on the gunnel of your boat for the best rod angle. Mounting location and required flange angle of rod holders may depend on whether down riggers or out riggers plan to be used. Often times 15 degree rod holders are mounted across the transom for good line placement. When the rod holder is used on either the port or starboard gunnel, consider mounting a 30 degree rod holder at a 10 degree outward angle to reduce chance of tangling.
